SUMMER 2004 REU PROGRAM KICKS OFF
The NSF-sponsored Research Experience for Undergraduates kicked off its summer program for 2004 on June 1. Six students from around the country will be performing EMSI-sponsored research in labs in the Columbia Chemistry Department. Welcome to Columbia, and good luck with your research! (more information)
LANGMUIR SCHOLARS SYMPOSIUM
The seven Langmuir Environmental Scholars presented their research projects in a symposium on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 in 209 Havemeyer Hall. Their projects span a wide range of areas, including chemistry, biology, environmental science, medicine, and policy. EMSI helped sponsor these students' summer research and supports programs for them during the academic year.
